Bearadise on the Creek is a unique & fantastic, newly renovated & updated 3-bedroom Maggie Valley cottage. The vacation home is located right on the river, with a wooded & open yard, overlooking the Jonathan Creek river with a stream-bed soaking pool, and loads of private access for fishing, swimming, exploring and more. And of course; the hot tub!

Perfect for a romantic getaway or a quiet retreat surrounded by woods, river views, and the sounds of flowing water.

Bearadise on the Creek has become one of the most popular cottages for couples & small families, in our Yonder luxury portfolio, and is quickly becoming one of the most requested! It is not surprising when you put a relaxed and cozy cottage together with spectacular natural views, extensive outdoor space, and just pure, unfiltered relaxation.

The expansive decks are just off the Kitchen/Great Room. All of these afford additional outdoor space to relax & unwind. Everyone enjoys the decks, you can pull up a chair and take in the "sound of silence", observe the night as it fills with stars, and watch the fireflies come out to play in your backyard.

Take a seat and enjoy the sound of nature and the serenity in your own private paradise at the top of the world. There is also plenty of yard for dogs to run, kids to play, and everyone to hike. The creek, hot tub, and fire-pit area are favorites for all ages.

You are just minutes from America's favorite scenic byway, The Blue Ridge Parkway, motorcycle touring, biking, hiking, white water rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, Segway tour…just about any outdoor activity! Pets: This home and property are very dog friendly and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party.

"We stayed here as a family for my son's wedding in the area. The house is cute and clean with a fantastic location on the creek. The pleasant sound of the water running over the rocks lulls you to sleep. We would definitely stay here again! We did have to contact Yonder with questions and their responses were very quick. We had a great experience!

"Located in a great area of Maggie Valley, on the creek, it was home away from home....clean, comfortable, furnished nicely. We added an extra day at the end due to potentially snowy weather and the same person that had helped me previously over the phone (her name starts with M...don't know if I should give a full name on the internet) made everything go smoothly both times that she helped us. We will choose to rent "Bearadise" again in the future.

"Absolutely loved this property! Very clean. House looked updated and had lots of nice touches; beautiful fire pit with wood, hot tub, fireplace, TVs in each bedroom, plenty of linens, etc. The property is right on Jonathan’s Creek so you get the great view and sound from it. The house has three decks/balconies that are covered so you can sit outside if it’s raining. Driveway is paved and large enough for us to park a truck, trailer and two motorcycles. Indian Trace Rd is a bit narrow, so keep that in mind when coming and going (backing in and out mostly). But there is almost no traffic so it’s all good. Property is centrally located in Maggie Valley so you’ll be able to get to anywhere in a short period of time. I highly recommend staying here!

"Great little cabin without the climb into the hills. We were actually sad we didn’t get to hang out and enjoy the cabin a little more. We had a vehicle show in town and were rarely at the cabin. Comfortably hosts 6 people. Beautiful little stream out back that could lull you to sleep. Nicely set up yard for hanging out with friends.

"The proximity to Maggie Valley and the surrounding area was ideal. The outside back deck was perfect for entertaining with all necessities like a grill, hot tub, Cornhole Games for outside playing in the backyard. The backyard provided a firepit with surround seating and the relaxing sound of the rushing stream. The home is nicely decorated providing relaxation and comforts of home.

"Other than the gas grill not lighting, the "Bearadise" is one of the best places we've ever stayed. The location is far enough off the beaten trail to be quiet, but everything is an easy drive away. The creek got kinda scary but that was due to Tropical Storm Fred, not the location. We'll want to stay here again next year if it's available.

"This place is great, it's not big by all means, but we where four adults and two kids, it worked well, I wouldn't recommend more than 6 in this house, unless you have more kids, then it's fine, there is all the fire wood you can burn, the stream and the back yard is a perfect place to hang out and the hot tub is the final cream on top of this lovely little house... And for the first time I've rented a place where the wifi was fairly strong, that's a big plus hence I got rid of some work, as a nerd I tested it and it landed at 100/10mbit and it was constant, not bad :-)... We'll stay here again if we plan on coming to Maggie Valley later on.

"Our vacation started rough when our original rental was canceled two weeks before our trip. We found this house and decided to give it a shot. We absolutely fell in love. The creek in the back was so relaxing. The fire pit was fun. The hot tub broke but the property manager got someone out quickly. Unfortunately, we were not able to use it most of the trip. The house was perfect for our family and we will be back! Thank you for the memories!!

Wonderful Stay at Bearadise!

"We had a wonderful stay at Bearadise on the Creek! The house was very clean, the kitchen had everything that we needed, and all of the furniture was very comfortable. What truly set this place apart from other houses that we have rented in the past was the location. The house is located in the heart of Maggie Valley, with Lake Junaluska a few miles away and Waynesville’s Main Street only a 10 minute drive. We had no trouble finding plenty of things to do nearby, and tons of great restaurants. We tried out a couple of the breweries in Waynesville, and even found a free wine tasting while we were there. There is great hiking in the area, although we chose to stick closer to town because of the weather. Bearadise is located off of a major road, so there are no steep, narrow roads to wind around to get to the house. We were incredibly thankful for this, since it snowed during our stay. We have stayed in the area several times before, and have wondered more than once if our car would make it up the steep road or driveway to the rental house. That is definitely not the case with this house! My favorite thing about the house, though, has to be the creek. There is nothing more peaceful than the sound of the rushing water, as you sit in the hot tub. With the leaves off of the trees, we even had a nice view of the mountains from both the back yard and the front. The back yard is very large and flat, with plenty of room for the kids to play. We really wanted to use the fire pit, but it was a little bit too wet while we were there. Bearadise is definitely the best rental that we have had in this area, and we plan to stay there again the next time that we travel to the area.

50th Anniversary Trip

"We decided to celebrate our 50th anniversary with a trip to the mountains and booked Bearadise on the Creek for our stay. We could not be more pleased with our choice. The house was in a great location just off of the main road and had everything that we needed for our stay. The kitchen was very well supplied for us to cook our meals, and we were quite taken with the coffee that was provided. In fact, I would love to know where to find the brand. We were also very pleased that there was a bedroom with a king size bed and a bathroom on the first floor, so that we did not have to climb the stairs. The house was very clean and the furniture and beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the recliners while we watched TV, and listening to the creek from the chairs on the back deck. We found many things to do in the area, including a small festival and free concerts in front of the Maggie Valley Town Hall. We had a lovely stay, and plan to come back again in the fall. We would recommend this house to everyone.
